The Snapshot records nothing
When you use the Next Chapter Snapshot, your answers stay in your own browser. They are not sent anywhere, not stored, and I never see them unless you choose to send them to me.
If you close the page without asking for your results by email, nothing about you exists anywhere.
What I collect, and only if you ask
If you fill in the form at the end of the Snapshot, I collect:
- Your first name and email address
- Your seven scores and the area that came out lowest, so the email I send you is actually about you
- Whether you ticked the box to hear from me occasionally
That is everything. No profiling, and nothing bought from anyone else.
One thing I can see: like most email, mine records whether a message was opened and whether a link in it was clicked. That is how I know if anything I send is useful. Nothing more than that — not what you read on the website, not where you go afterwards.
What I do with it
I email you your results. If you ticked the box, I may also write to you a few times a year about rewirement — what I am learning, and occasionally what I offer.
If you did not tick the box, you get your results and nothing else.
I never sell, rent or share your details. Not with anyone, for any reason.
If you book a call
Bookings go through Cal.com, which collects your name, email and whatever you write in the notes. If you have done the Snapshot, your results are added to the booking so I can read them before we speak.
Notes I make during or after a conversation are kept on my own computer, referred to by initials rather than names, and are never published or shared. If anything you say might be useful more widely — a phrase, a pattern — I ask you first, every time, and anonymously by default.
Where it is kept
- Email addresses: MailerLite, an email service based in the EU.
- Bookings: Cal.com.
- My own notes: my computer, backed up to my own cloud storage.
The website itself is hosted by Cloudflare and sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long I keep it
Until you ask me to delete it, or until I clear out addresses that have not opened anything in two years — whichever comes first.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can ask me to show you what I hold, correct it, or delete it. No form, no process: email me and I will do it, normally within a few days.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, no questions.
If you are in the EU or UK and think I have handled your details badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Portugal that is the CNPD.
